December Fishing Report:
I hope this report finds everyone warm, well, and immersing themselves in the holiday season with family and friends. I know, after the first couple of weeks of December weather, I’m everything but warm!
The month started off great with good water flows, happy fish, and decent weather. That all quickly took a turn in the wrong direction…
November Fishing Report:
I finished out my season on the South Holston October 30th to head up to Erie Pennsylvania for my annual steelhead season. We had a strong finish to the fall season on the soho with lots of great dry fly opportunities and were off to a good start for the 2025 steelhead season with dozens of fish hitting the net already.

August has been a pleasant month for fishing this year! With average highs in the mid-70s to low 80s and average lows in the 60s, we have been enjoying some beautiful weather days. We have been in need of a solid dose of rain in Pennsylvania, but we have had plenty in Tennessee. Both fisheries have been as good as you could ask for this time of year! Before you know it, fall will be here

A rain-packed June is going to lead to some stellar summer fishing. The last several years of droughts have made summer fishing extremely challenging, but with heavy spring rains, we will have better fishing opportunities in July and August than we have had in a few years!
